YX-50L mixing tank is connected with an emulsion pump by two stainless pipes. They were specially customized for an Israeli customer. This equipment is mainly made of 50L mixing vessel, 0.75kw agitator geared motor, 4kw emulsion pump, screw lifting system, tilting system, two 3kw electrical heaters and electrical control cabinet. Product temperature, jacket temperature, the frequency of mixer and homogenizer, up and down of the agitator can be controlled by electrical cabinet. Emulsion pump is a high efficiency product integrating, mixing, disaggregation, homogenization ,and emulsification. It is usually made of one set of rotor and stator, mechanic seal, transmission part and motor etc. The body of the pump is installed on a stainless steel base. An inlet port and an outlet port are connected to the manufacturing vessel for circulation. A drain port is opened at the bottom of the chamber for the purpose of cleaning. The tilting system is driven by combination of turbine and worm. After the product is completed, operators can discharge it by spinning the black hand wheel beside the tank. There’s a limit switch attached with hand wheel. Only when you tilt the tank vertically, the machine is powered. If you tilt the tank a little bit forward, the machine will not be powered and you can’t bring down the lid and do any electric operation. Or you can open the bottom valve under the tank for discharging as well. What is open mixing tank? YX open mixing tank, also called open top mixing vessel, is a stainless steel mixer machine for the manufacture of low viscosity liquids and preparations in the cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, food and chemicals industries. What is open mixing tank made of? YX open mixing tank is usually made of mixing tank, heating and cooling system, temperature control system, electrical control panel etc. The mixing tank is composed of an anchor agitator mounted from the top cover and two or more baffles attached to the inside wall. How does open mixing tank work? During the mixing operation, the anchor agitator rotates clockwise slowly driving the materials move along the wall. When the liquid meets the baffles, some change the moving direction and some pass the baffles from around. The left part of the anchor mixer moves the liquid upwards and the right part moves it downwards. Because of the two opposite forces by the agitator, the liquid rolls over the vessel from top to bottom and back to top repeatedly. When the liquid is completely mixed and blended, the heat from the jacket is quickly transferred to every part through the inside wall.
