QUEENSLAND RAIL ELECTRIC TRAIN: Gympie - Brisbane Queensland Rail (QR) is a railway operator in Queensland, Australia. Owned by the Queensland Government, it operates local and long-distance passenger services, as well as owning and maintaining rolling stock and approximately 6,600 kilometres (4,101 mi) of track and related infrastructure. One of these lines I am on is the North Coast Line and I board the train in Gympie North Station bound for Brisbane Central Station. The train looked a bit rough around the edges, but this is expected seeing how it was delivered in 1997, and the last of it’s fleet to still retain the original interior.
