#G7 I CNCS-PCIS : Découvrez les 2 centres de commandement stratégiques du ministère !

#G7 in Évian | The commitment of a fully mobilized chain of command to secure the event. ✅ Did you know? In terms of strategic command, the Ministry of the Interior oversees two perfectly complementary centers. Their mission ➡️ is to gather information from the field to anticipate crises and make appropriate decisions. These centers operate at two levels: ▪️at the local level, in #Évian: the Interministerial Command Post (#PCIS), led by Emmanuelle Dubée, the @prefect of Haute-Savoie ▪️at the national level, in #Paris: the National Strategic Command Center (#CNCS), headed by Prefect Daniel Barnier How do they coordinate? Police, gendarmerie, civil defense, emergency medical services (SAMU), ministerial representatives… These centers bring together all the stakeholders involved in managing the event. Thanks to efficient coordination tools, they share operational information in real time, essential for effective monitoring and decision-making. ℹ️ While the PCIS (Integrated Security and Intervention Center) gathers feedback from the field at the local level, the CNCS (National Security and Intervention Center) provides additional information at the national and even international level. In total, approximately 600 people are mobilized within these centers. Day and night, they are working until the end of the G7 summit to ensure everyone's safety during this major international event.
