Providence police investigating pedestrian bridge stabbing
Officers were called to the bridge of South Water Street just before 11 p.m. Tuesday and found a man in his 40s suffering from a stab wound. He was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. The family has identified him as Gerald Blair, adding that he went by Jerry and was experiencing homelessness. 12 News Reporter Shiina LoSciuto provides further updates.
