Pastor Phillip Anthony Mitchell said something we need to hear: don’t just listen to sermons. Read the Word for yourself. That matters because a lot of people are mixing things God never told us to mix. Prayer and occult practices. Jesus and tarot cards. The Bible and sage. Christian language and no fruit. Scripture says we cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons too. We cannot sit at the table of the Lord and the table of demons at the same time. I believe the Church needs this warning. Anybody can call themselves a Christian. Anybody can put it in a profile. But Scripture tells us to look for fruit. Is there love? Is there repentance? Is there obedience? Is there evidence of the Holy Spirit? Is there transformation? This is not about pride. This is not about looking down on people. This is about opening the Bible, examining ourselves, and asking if our lives actually belong to Jesus. Read the Word for yourself.
