Hidden Old Japan | Walking Through Historic Takehara

Takehara is a quiet historic town in Hiroshima Prefecture, often called the "Little Kyoto of Aki." In this video, my son and I walk through its preserved streets, visit Saifukuji Temple and Fumeikaku, explore local markets, and discover some of the small details that make this town so special. Takehara is also a place filled with personal memories. Years ago, my father brought me here during his work trips. Later, I visited with the woman who would become my wife. Today, I walk these same streets hand in hand with my son. Sometimes, a place becomes special not because of a single landmark, but because of the memories we make there.
