I went to the annual Shin-Nishinomiya Marine Carnival at Shin-Nishinomiya Yacht Harbor again this year. Every year, I get to ride on various boats during the daytime races, but this year it was a 40-foot TAM participating in an offshore race with double-handed sailing. I had assumed that there would be many people racing since it was a festival race, but it was just the two of us and myself. Since it was a boat designed for two people to sail, I didn't need to do anything, and I enjoyed the race from a prime seat. The weather and wind were great, and it was a very pleasant race.
