Take Your Burdens to the Lord and Leave Them There

Wednesday Night Bible Study at O'Kelly Chapel — back after two weeks away. Led by Sr. Pastor Brandon Green. | Part of our ongoing Matthew series. Tonight's text: Matthew 15:29 — Jesus returns to the Sea of Galilee and heals the blind, the lame, the crippled, and the mute. All of them. Then he feeds 4,000 with seven loaves and a few fish — and there are seven baskets left over. Coming off Pentecost Sunday, Pastor also takes us to John 14 — Jesus' promise that the Holy Spirit would come so that we'd never walk this journey alone. Main takeaway: "Take your burdens to the Lord and leave them there. Don't pick them back up and take them with you." We're standing in prayer with every member of our congregation facing health challenges right now.
