The processing of vegetable oils is making inroads into the industrial sector, locally, nationally, and internationally. In the Republic of Panama, we visited what is considered the largest company in the country, dedicated to the production of oils for domestic and industrial consumption. This company is committed to sustainable socioeconomic growth for its employees and partners, generating increased income, employment, increased production, and regional progress that boost the country's agroindustry. Palm oil production in Panama is estimated at 25,000 hectares, with Chiriquí being the largest producer with 18,347 hectares cultivated by approximately 720 producers.
