A capture of Prom 34 of the 1998 BBC Proms season, notable for being the Proms premiere of Edward Elgar's Symphony No 3 (elab. Payne). Also featured was the Mother Goose suite by Ravel, and Mozart's Piano Concerto No 17 in G major, K 453. Sir Andrew Davis was the conductor, with Howard Shelley on piano.
