A complete drive on Swat Expressway From Islamabad to Chakdara. It takes almost 50 to 60 minutes to travel the 82 km section of Swat Expressway from Karnal Sher Khan Interchange on M-1 to Chakdara Pul Saokai (now called Malak Ahmad Khan Interchange) which is a junction of Swat and Lower Dir National highways (N-45). Swat Motorway extension to Bagh Dherai, Swat is under planning stages. This route can be used to access the valleys of Swat, Dir Lower, Dir Upper, Bajuare and Chitral. Chakdara Interchange aka Malak Ahmad Khan Interchange which is the last interchange of current Motorway is about 200km from Islamabad zero point.
