Losing My Mind All the Way to Master 1. HERO | S55 Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel

What's bubbly y'all? It's Bubbleman, fr! 🌊 As some of you might know, this Master 1 has been the most difficult for me since returning to MD in the beginning of this year. On paper it doesn't seem like the craziest meta but HERO has a bad matchup against the Zoo Radiant deck that has been all over Master Rank. I actually almost got to M1 two seperate times only to rank down considerably on both runs. I was seriously crashing out, frfr. 🤣🤣 I finally made it on the third run and funnily enough I think the release of Harmonia this month getting people off Zoo RT and onto Killer Tune helped. 😂😂 With so much jumping up and down in ranks this season I had a lot of good replays and some that unfortunately didn't make the cut, including some Zoo RT ones. I tried different main deck counts ranging from 44 to 60 cards and was satisfied the most with a 60 build that cuts unecessary bricks like Dark Angel and Plasma in favor for a bit more non-engine. Shout out to ‪@HL-Kiing‬ for recomending Book of Eclipse, too! It has utility against popular decks like Brandon and KT, while also being a nice chainable spell when going second against Zoo RT. I've been testing a small Evil HERO package more and I like it for the ability to send stuff like fountain to get to mask change and Mali to bridge into D-HERO plays. Not to mention having Evil HEROs in GY for the Vyon and Dusk Crow banishes actually come up! Finally, Wake Up is back in the deck! I've always loved this card and I decided to include it for its OTK enabling. Like, I was seriously getting annoyed at Brandon summoning a bunch of big dudes in DEFENSE and not being able to OTK with Trinity, frfr. So, Wake Up was my answer and I made him a lot this season!
