We're off on a short camping trip to the Chugoku region! This time, we're heading to Yamaguchi Prefecture, to OceanBASE Kawajiri Auto Campground. The Oohama Beach stretches out before us. Its emerald green waters are breathtakingly beautiful! We knew to some extent that the wind would pick up during the night, but... that wind was... an unbelievably strong gust, far exceeding the forecast! In such strong winds, we couldn't even take down the tent we'd already set up, so we spent the night repeatedly tightening the loosened ropes and checking the pegs... Our precious Nord tent, our trusty companion. Seeing it struggling against the wind was heartbreaking... A night filled with indescribable fear and anxiety. This was the strongest wind camping experience we've ever had since we started camping. Our Nord tent did a great job!
