On our previous trip we left the Ruahines empty handed after an unlucky miss, so we were eager to get back for an attempt at redemption. On this trip we had a lot more luck seeing a lot of animals, although the Ruahines weren't giving up the goods easily. With some wild weather thrown in the mix we had to work hard for our quarry and with a bit of luck and perseverance we managed to shoot a stag each!
