It also permits the immediate use of weapons by personnel when encountering violent perpetrators who pose a danger to troops, provided that such actions are necessary and proportionate. Furthermore, civilian authorities are instructed to comply with the military's requirements regarding operations, suppression, and maintaining peace and order in the area. The order is effective from the date of signing. Until further notice: Today, the 4509th Ranger Company deployed a new contingent of 8 soldiers to the "Bukeh Sami" checkpoint, replacing the 5 soldiers who were killed. Regarding the pursuit of the perpetrators, information from security sources suggests the attack was carried out by a violent extremist group led by Mr. Masoefi and Mr. Abdulloh, operational leaders who have been operating continuously in four districts of Narathiwat province: Ra-ngae, Chan-ae, Sri Sakhon, and Rueso. As for the pickup truck used by the perpetrators in the recent shooting of the rangers, investigations revealed it was sold in Narathiwat province without legal ownership transfer.
