Official Twitter Account:   / realtraum   Kenichiro Takashima (Tenor) After graduating from the Vocal Music Department of Tokyo University of the Arts, he studied abroad in Vienna on the university's Overseas Study Support Scholarship. While studying at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, he made his debut at the 2018 Lehar Festival. Since that season, he has performed leading roles in operettas at theaters across Germany, including the title role of the Gypsy Baron Barinkai and the role of Countess Maritza Tassilo. In 2022, he will make his debut at the Mörbisch Lake Festival, Europe's largest open-air festival, and begin his full-fledged career in Japan. He successfully performed his first recital at Tokyo Opera City, and in 2023, he will make his long-awaited Japanese stage debut in the lead role of Sid Sorokin in the musical "Pajama Game." He received the Ataka Prize while still a student. He completed the Master's program in solo singing at the same university's graduate school. He also completed the 61st Master's Class at the Nikikai Opera Studio. In opera, he has received acclaim for his roles as the Count in The Marriage of Figaro, Papageno in The Magic Flute, Marcello in La Bohème, and Escamillo in Carmen. He also has a wide repertoire of sacred music, and has appeared as soloist in the 63rd Geidai Messiah, Verdi's Requiem, Beethoven's Symphony No. 9, and Haydn's Creation. He has performed with the Geidai Philharmonic Orchestra and the Aichi Chamber Orchestra under the baton of Otaka Tadaaki, Takaseki Ken, Matsuo Yoko, and Suzuki Hidemi. He made his Nikikai debut in 2021, appearing as Elviro in the Nikikai New Wave Opera Theatre's Xerse. He is scheduled to appear as the Bishop in April 2023 in the Japan premiere of the Nikikai production Day of Peace. He is an associate member of the Nikikai. He appeared as a member of the vocal ensemble in "ALCHEMIST RENATUS ~Homunculus~" at the "Musical Reading Drama READING HIGH" held at Nippon Budokan on Sunday, December 6, 2020. Received the Doseikai Award and Acanthus Award upon graduation. Completed the Graduate School of Music, Graduate School of Music, majoring in vocal music. He made his musical debut in 2016 in "Apple Tree" (directed by Yu Shirota). He has since appeared in musicals such as "Les Misérables," "Sunset Boulevard," "The Illusionist," "Into the Woods," "Your Lie in April," and "Jersey Boys." He has also appeared on "Summer Station Musical Collection" (EX), "Japanese Masterpiece Album" (BS-TBS), "MUSIC FAIR" (CX), and "FNS Kayosai" (CX), and is actively involved as a singer, participating in hotel dinner shows, recordings, and holding annual solo concerts. Also received the Japan Post Encouragement Award and the Japan Broadcasting Corporation Award. Singing the national anthem at Koshien Stadium, Tokyo Dome, and other venues. Appeared in the operas "Gianni Schicchi" as Rinuccio and "Don Ottavio" in "Don Giovanni." A promising new generation classical crossover singer whose work transcends various genres.
