Lipica - The Cradle of the Lipizzaner

The Lipica Stud Farm, established in 1580, is the cradle of the Lipizzaner horse. With the tradition of over 430 years Lipica is one of the oldest stud farms in the world, breeding Lipizzaner horses uninterrputedly since its establishment. Today it is home to more than 350 Lipizzaners and a well-known tourist destination. Visitors can join guided tours to the stud farm all-year-long.
