WXIA Commercial Breaks (October 5, 1982)
#5years #restored Taken from The Tonight Show, airing on NBC affiliate WXIA-TV (channel 11) in Atlanta. Watching this again makes me want more pre-1984 material, but you have to remember VHS wasn't really affordable back then. Included in here are promos for WXIA's new look, and a "Hello Atlanta" promo sung by the late Florence Warner. The Skycam promo also has different music since its original track was "Believe It Or Not" from The Greatest American Hero. The graphics were done by Cascom, and the following year they began using Atlanta-based Television by Design, being one of their first clients. (C) 1982 Gannett; WXIA is now owned by Nexstar Media Group. All rights go to their respective owners, same for the advertisements. For educational and historical purposes only. We don't profit off this video.
