MotionCamPro V5 & Moondog Labs 1.33x Anamorphic Lens

Back with the mobile cinematography rig! In this video, I’m taking the Google Pixel 8A out into the wild again, but this time paired with the Moondog 1.33x Anamorphic lens. Filming in heavy daylight without an ND filter adapter is a massive challenge, but a cloudy day gave me just enough cover to test out some specific settings: shooting in HEVC 10-bit (110 Mbps) and pushing the footage through an Arri WG / Rec 709 color profile. I also ran into a massive aspect ratio and timeline bottleneck when de-squeezing anamorphic footage shot at 2.35:1 vs 16:9, and I breakdown exactly how I had to build a custom timeline to salvage the framing. Plus, for everyone asking about the *CPU throttling indicator* on my screen, I show you exactly what it looks like when the phone starts sweating under these high-bitrate specs.
