"It Takes a Village" Performed by The Choral Project

Performed as part of The Choral Project’s 𝘈𝘳𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘚𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥: 𝘏𝘖𝘗𝘌 concert on April 26, 2024, this stirring rendition of "It Takes a Village" celebrates the power of community and connection. Composer Joan Szymko’s work draws inspiration from the West African proverb “It takes a village to raise a child,” expressing how individual voices, each with their own rhythm and purpose, unite to form something greater than themselves.
