Kickdown + Limiter! | Lothian Country Buses Volvo B9TL G2 940 (SN10 DKK) on route X40

Kickdown/good revs at 0:05, 0:23, 0:40, 1:09 Seems like these 10 plates just don’t know when to retire! Recently transferred from East Coast Buses, some of the 10 plated Gemini 2 B9TLs (937-941) have moved to Lothian Country, even though they have been close to withdrawal several times in the past couple of years. Mainly seen on the local 7X routes around West Lothian, they can also be seen on X27/8 to and from Edinburgh. Unusually, today, 940 is seen operating the X40, a route normally served by Ex-London B9TLs or B5TL/LHs, so it’s a nice sight to see this one go down the bypass right on the limiter!
