Alum Cave Bluffs Hike March 2026

March 24, 2026 — we checked off one of our bucket list hikes. We almost had to turn around right before the end but decided to keep pushing forward after a break—and we’re really glad we did. Conquering the hike was worth it! We tried to capture the changes in terrain and elevation along the way, although that’s always tough to fully show on video. It’s one of those hikes you really have to experience in person. You’ll come across Arch Rock first, which is a pretty mild to moderate hike up to that point depending on your skill level. After that, it gets a bit more challenging. We’ve heard the stretch from the bluffs to Mt. LeConte is even tougher. Just be sure to listen to your body, take plenty of breaks and stay hydrated. Some of the coolest moments was seeing supplies being flown up to Mt. LeConte by helicopter. Arch Rocks and The Bluffs was well worth seeing. Bonus was the nice people we met along the way. The whole trail was beautiful for the nature lover. Overall, it was a beautiful day on the trail, and we had a great time. Thanks for coming along with us—we hope you enjoy the hike!
