I'm starting with a bit of a warmup today, relaxing before painting by swatching the Daniel Smith Primatek set with the addition of yellow. There isn't a yellow in the introductory set of six Primatek colors - but you really need one! The yellow I'm using is Quinacridone Gold from Schmincke Horadam, my favorite yellow for its versatility, transparency and ability to always make a beautiful color blend! I am painting on a piece of 100% cotton 140lb cold pressed Arches paper, and I am using a Drawell round brush.
