things got hard so we ran away to Miami

Escaped NYC to Miami for a few days and honestly had no real agenda other than soaking up some sun and taking things slow. We spent time at the beach (mandatory), wander through the Vizcaya Museum & Gardens, walked around Brickell for the first time, grabbed some food (paseo Catracho for delicious Honduran food is a MUST), and just enjoyed being out of our normal routine for a weekend. A rare occasion for me but no strict itinerary or planning since life has been so busy back home... just a few days of sunshine. If you're planning a visit to Miami, hopefully this gives you a little inspiration for some more "quiet" and day-focused plans in a city that felt so high-energy at night.
