Tamiya M24 Chaffee Full Build Review | Amazing Kit with a Problem!?

Tamiya has finally released a brand-new 1/35 scale M24 Chaffee US Light Tank, and in this video we're building it from start to finish. We take a detailed look at the engineering, fit, and overall building experience while assembling nearly the entire vehicle and preparing it for painting and weathering in the next episode. The new Chaffee features some truly impressive engineering. The road wheels cleverly hide the ejector pin marks on the tracks, eliminating a major cleanup step. The tracks themselves assemble quickly and easily, while the upper hull, lower hull, turret, gun breech, grab handles, figures, and accessories showcase the high level of detail and design that modelers have come to expect from Tamiya. However, this kit isn't completely flawless. Several major components, including the sides of the upper and lower hull as well as the sand shields, arrived warped and required adjustment during assembly. There were also a few other fit issues that felt unusual for a brand-new Tamiya release. Despite those shortcomings, the finished model looks fantastic and fills a long-overdue gap in the armor modeling hobby.
