I was extremely interested, so I asked if I could help, and that's how I got involved in this project: "Restoring the Celica LB: A 70-Year-Old Challenge from a Friend of Chikuma!" When I visited the secret base where the work was taking place in July 2024, I found the car, a mass of rust so dilapidated it could be described as a complete disaster. I feared that it would be impossible for an amateur like me to restore it, but Chikuma no Tomo and his teammates have been working together to overcome each challenge one by one, and the project is still progressing. This is the first episode. I'll introduce the project from its inception to the time before I went to see it.
