The ultimate is to have a helper (developmental specialist) walking with you on that journey and providing you with information and strategies along the way as your child grows. What's crucial in developmental intervention is to carefully assess the child's current abilities and level of functioning. In developmental intervention support, our focus extends beyond the present—we contemplate what lies ahead. We consider the various things the child can learn and focus on identifying the most essential, crucial skills for their development today, this week, this month, and this year.
