These Christian Beliefs Make ZERO sense

What does Christianity look like to an atheist? Have you ever stopped to consider how strange mainstream Christian doctrine actually sound to outsiders? If someone described transubstantiation, the Trinity, or original sin to you cold for the very first time as an adult, would any of it survive thirty seconds of honest scrutiny? And why do beliefs that would get you laughed out of any other room get a free pass the moment a pastor says them on Sunday morning? I spent 24 years of my life believing everything in the Bible was literally true. I defended it, preached it, and I understand exactly why it all feels perfectly normal from the inside. But in this video, I wanted to re-examine my former beliefs as someone who's been an atheist now for over a decade. I'm focusing on seven of the strangest core doctrines in mainstream Christianity and putting them under a microscope. We'll go straight to the Bible and hone in on the actual teachings of the church itself. And no, these aren't fringe ideas from some backwoods sect.
