Arlene Foster on virus outbreak in the UK
(10 Mar 2020) First Minister of Northern Ireland Arlene Foster was among several ministers who took part in an emergency Cobra meeting in London on Monday to discuss the virus outbreak in the UK. Foster said it was important to "listen to what the science says" and to follow the advice of the chief medical officer, Professor Chris Whitty. Foster said: "The advice very much remains the same, that if you feel unwell, like with flu-like symptoms, you should stay at home." "And of course, personal hygiene, washing your hands, making sure that you continue to do that. All of those things remain very important," she added.
