This is a tier list of 289 of gaming's most popular series, ranked by how much I enjoy them or have enjoyed them in the past. Franchises such as Halo, Resident Evil, Mario, Zelda, Tomb Raider, BioShock, Final Fantasy, Mass Effect and many, many more besides are tiered, as well as some even a hardened gamer like myself hasn't played or, on occasion, has barely even heard of. It's all just a bit of fun, so please don't take things too seriously if your favourite series doesn't come out near the top, it's all based entirely upon my own personal taste.
