1-0 「熱和氣體」簡介

"Heat and Gases" is the first unit in high school physics. It discusses energy, heat transfer, temperature, states of matter, etc. Why should we learn about these things? There is a very important reason... 0:00 Opening 0:54 Watt Steam Engine 1:37 How the steam engine affected the world 3:04 "Heat and Gases" and energy problem 4:17 Reflection on use of machines Show all topics https://goodstuffhappyshare.wordpress... ------------------------------ Supplementary information: Watt was not the first person in the world to build a steam engine. In fact, his design was based on Thomas Newcomen's design. Newcomen's steam engine could only apply force in one direction on a straight line. It was usually used to pull coal from the underground, or to pump water. Watt made a lot of improvements on his design, including the use of a separate condenser to improve efficiency, using a double-piston design to allow applying force in two directions, and using gears to convert linear motion to rotational motion. If you look closely at Watt's drawing (1:00), you will find that my animation is actually greatly simplified. If you are interested, you can find more details about Watt's steam engine in the following videos:    • Steam Engine - How Does It Work      • Watt steam engine   ------------------------------ Acknowledgements: 0:47 sound effect from http://www.freesfx.co.uk 1:00 image by DigbyDalton (https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Fi...) 1:43 image by Luis Miguel Bugallo Sánchez (https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Fi...) 2:04 image by Markus Schweiß (https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Fi...) 2:26 image by Deutsche Fotothek (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Fo...) 2:27 image by Kleuske (https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Fi...) 2:51 image by David Stowell (https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Fi...) 3:06 image by Vauxford (https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Fi...) 3:08 image by NLC India Ltd (https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Fi...)
