filming is easy, but i make it hard

i like to think of making these videos as studio time. like when i was doing my painting thesis in college, spending time in the studio every day regardless of what happens. it's more of a process of tending and showing up than anything else. it's about moving and practicing and getting Source to flow through, and 99% of it will be extremely uninteresting, thrown into the "discard" pile for no one to ever see, but you have to have the uninspired 99% to have the miracles. and there's also something profound about sharing that discard pile. to shatter the illusion that perfection comes naturally, or is a true thing at all, and not just lots of labor for one little gold nugget love you x who can relate #creativeprocess #spirituality #startingayoutubechannel instagram: ashleydodojiao substack: ashleydodojiao.substack.com
