Féminicides : pourquoi toujours plus de femmes tuées ?

In this new episode of Droit de Suite, Public Sénat goes behind the scenes at the Maison des Femmes (Women's Center) in Saint-Denis (93), which has been providing shelter for women victims of violence for the past 10 years. In France, a woman dies every three days at the hands of her partner. The number of femicides is rising, and the situation is deeply concerning. Yet, progress has been made since the #MeToo movement and the Grenelle Forum on Domestic Violence in 2019. Numerous laws have led to the implementation of "grave danger" phones and "anti-proximity" bracelets, and the training of police officers and gendarmes is improving. Through reports and poignant testimonies, Wendy Bouchard interviews many key figures in the fight against domestic violence, including Senator and former Minister Laurence Rossignol, to understand why, despite these advances, more and more women are being killed.
