Double Your Closet Space - Double Closet Rod
Adding a second closet pole will double your storage. This is an easy do it yourself project. For small homes and condos, this is a great project to help organize your clothes. You will need to purchase a clothes pole, a center bracket and sockets for the end of the pole. I like to add a length of wood under the socket to give it more support. If you have a lot of weight with your clothes and the screw in the socket isn't in a stud, it can tear free. The length of wood will allow you to catch the stud and give you a solid surface to screw into. I used a 1" x 4".
