Three Great Flat Rides
Here are three great contrasting flat rides that I have been using lately. 20" Sabian Signature Crystal Ride 20" Dream Dark Matter Flat Earth Ride 24" Bosphorus Turk flat Ride. I am also comparing these to a 20" Paiste Traditional Flat Ride. The Hi Hats are Sabian 13" HH Regular The kit I am using is a Gretsch Catalina Elite set from the early 1990's. I use this as my portable practice kit as well as a small gigging kit. The sizes are: 16" BD, 12" and 14" toms and a Ludwig 5"x14" Black Beauty snare. The video title picture is of me and my friend, the great drummer Ed Thigpen, shortly before his passing.
