Electro Voice EVIVA 12P Review | Budget PA Speaker WORTH It?
Electro-Voice has entered the affordable PA speaker market with the new EVIVA series, and in this video we take a first look at the Electro-Voice EVIVA 12P powered PA speaker to see what it offers musicians, DJs, and live sound users. Electro-Voice was kind enough to lend me a full EVIVA system to test, including the EVIVA 12P, EVIVA 15P, and the EVIVA 18SP subwoofers, so this is the first video in a series where we will explore the features, sound quality, performance, and real world usability of these new portable PA speakers. Buy Here: https://www.sweetwater.com/store/deta... EV Website: https://products.electrovoice.com/na/... The EVIVA 12P is a 12 inch powered PA speaker rated at 1000 watts, designed to deliver professional Electro-Voice sound in a more affordable package. At around $399 USD, this speaker is positioned to compete with other popular portable PA speakers like the Yamaha DBR12, QSC CP12, and similar powered speakers used by DJs, musicians, and live performers. In this video we go through the features, specs, build quality, price, weight, and the onboard mixer located on the back panel of the EVIVA 12P. We'll also talk about who this speaker is designed for and where it fits into the world of portable PA systems and powered speakers. For many users, a pair of EVIVA 12P speakers on stands could be a great solution for acoustic musicians, duos, trios, small bands, DJs, and small event setups. Depending on the size of the room and the type of music you are playing, two 12 inch PA speakers can often provide plenty of volume for coffee houses, private parties, small venues, or corporate events. And in some situations you may not even need a subwoofer, although adding the EVIVA 18SP subwoofer will definitely bring additional low end for bass heavy music or larger events. In upcoming videos on the channel we will also be testing the EVIVA 15P and the EVIVA 18SP subwoofer, including sound tests, real world volume testing, and comparisons with other popular PA speakers used by DJs and live sound engineers. If you are looking for a budget PA speaker for DJs, musicians, bands, or portable sound systems, the new Electro-Voice EVIVA series might be worth a closer look. If you enjoy PA speaker reviews, live sound gear, DJ equipment, and portable speaker comparisons, make sure to subscribe so you don't miss the upcoming EVIVA tests.
