රාගම වල්පොල ශ්‍රී විමලරත්නාරාම විද්‍යානිවාස මහා පිරිවෙන් මහා විහාරස්ථානය කේන්ද්‍රකොට ශ්‍රී බාලාභිවෘධිවර්ධන සමිතිය මඟින් 97 වන වතාවටත් අති උත්කර්ෂවත් අයුරින් පවත්වන පොසොන් පූජෝත්සවය – රාගම වල්පොල පොසොන් මහා පෙරහැර පැවැත්වීමට කටයුතු යොදා ඇත. ඒ අනුව, රාගම වල්පොල ඓතිහාසික පොසොන් මහා පෙරහැර 2026 ජූනි මස 28 වන දින රාත්‍රියේ වීථි සංචාරය කිරීමට නියමිතය. පොසොන් පුර පසළොස්වක පොහෝය ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ බුදු දහම මෙරටට හඳුන්වා දුන් පූජනීය සිදුවීම සිහිපත් කරමින් අනුබුදු මිහිඳු මහරහතන් වහන්සේට කරන උපහාරයක් ලෙස පෙරහැර පවත්වනු ලබයි. සියලුම බැතිමතුන්ට මෙම පින්බර පොසොන් මංගල්‍යයට සහභාගී වී ආශීර්වාද ලබාගන්නා ලෙස ගෞරවයෙන් ආරාධනා කරමු. 🙏🏻☸️ Poson Festival and Grand Perahera – Ragama Walpola The 97th Poson Festival, organized with great grandeur by the Sri Balabhivrudhiwardhana Society, centered around the Sri Wimalarathanarama Vidyanivasa Maha Pirivena Maha Viharaya in Walpola, Ragama, has been arranged to be held once again this year. Accordingly, the Historic Ragama Walpola Poson Grand Perahera is scheduled to parade through the streets on the night of 28 June 2026. The Perahera is conducted as a tribute to Arahant Mahinda Thera, commemorating the sacred occasion of the introduction of Buddhism to Sri Lanka, which is celebrated on the Poson Full Moon Poya Day.
