We Rented a Van in Taiwan… This Was INSANE 🇹🇼 (Part 1)

Welcome to our Taiwan Road Trip (Part 1)!🇹🇼🚐 We rented a van for 2 weeks to explore the entire island of Taiwan and it actually worked out cheaper than travelling by train. Having our own van gave us the freedom to go off the beaten track and discover places most tourists never see. In this first part of our journey, we travel from north to south, experiencing a mix of Taiwan’s landscapes, culture, and food. We start in the Houlong District, visiting Baishatun Temple and the nearby beach, before heading to Taichung Night Market for some amazing local street food. Next, we drive into the mountains to explore Sun Moon Lake, where we spot monkeys in the wild and visit Shuili Township, Wenwu Temple, Cien Pagoda, and Ita Thao village. Continuing further south, we stop at Budai, Jingzaijiao Salt Fields, and Tainan. Along the way we try lots of local Taiwanese food, explore night markets, and even experience a unique cyber cube spa. We then head all the way down to Kenting, where Taiwan completely changes with tropical beaches, clear water, and incredible snorkelling spots. This is only Part 1 and it gets even better in Part 2. We chose to rent a van because it was cheaper than trains, gave us total freedom, and allowed us to explore hidden locations.
