Why is it still the best aRPG? [ Diablo 2 Review ]

Diablo 2 - in all of its forms, has been held on a pedestal for over 20 years at this point, the question is - should you get one of the flavors of Diablo 2 these days? or are there better options? As far as Diablo 2 Resurrected vs Diablo 2 Lord of Destruction - for the most part, the majority of these points apply to both versions - with the major difference being graphics. But Resurrected does have some modified mechanics, and we do dive into the weeds there in other videos - since they don't significantly change the review, just the strategy guides. (with the exception of Sundered Charms and Mosaic, which are creeping in of "item-centric balance" vs "skill-centric balance") I still wonder why we still haven't learned the lessons of the past and taken this a step further, rather than trying to shift the genre towards mmo-ization for maximum monetization. +++++ Some (not all) games for review may have been provided for free from the developer, publisher, or viewers - at least for newer games.
