Patagonia won’t let go — wind, slow days, and the Panamericana calling north. 🏍️🌬️ This travel vlog continues my motorcycle journey through Argentina’s vast south, starting with brutal wind at Lago Musters in Chubut Province. Gusts strong enough to dictate speed, line, and patience — one of those rides where you don’t fight the wind, you negotiate with it. After pushing through, I stop for a simple lunch in Gobernador Costa, one of those small towns that feels like a checkpoint between emptiness and relief. Eventually, the pace changes completely. I roll into El Bolsón and end up staying for almost two weeks at La Casona de Odile. No rushing, no long distances — just rest, small repairs, good food, and the chance to breathe again after weeks of hard riding. From there, the road pulls me back in. Bariloche welcomes me with alpine scenery, lakes, and that strange mix of Europe and Patagonia, before I continue on to San Martín de los Andes. Now Ruta 40 turns northbound, and the Panamericana feeling is fully alive again. Long stretches through Neuquén, fewer distractions, more rhythm. This is the kind of riding where the motorcycle, the road, and your thoughts settle into one steady flow 😌. Kilometer after kilometer, Patagonia slowly loosens its grip as I approach its northern border. The day ends at Camping El Jony near Río Grande, Argentina — simple, quiet, and exactly what I need.
