I Tried LA County Fair’s Craziest Foods

Opening day at the L.A. County Fair turned into a full-on adventure. I went to the fair to find out what was actually worth it. The weirdest food, the best tasting food, the best budget-friendly item, the biggest waste of money, and the best thing to do that doesn’t involve eating. Along the way, I tried Taco Ramen, a Dr Pepper pickle drink from Chicken Charlie’s, a Captain Crunch fried chicken sandwich, deep-fried mango with Tajín, and the Dubai chocolate funnel cake. Some of it was amazing. Some of it was a mistake. We also checked out the classic cars, Bob Baker Marionette Theater, petting zoo, animal races, the Extreme Dog Show, and somehow I ended up getting attacked by a hand massager again.
