The DAC ICONS Performance from the Gala of the Stars benefiting Dancers Against Cancer — featuring an extraordinary cast of dancers who came together to support families in the dance community battling cancer. 💖✨ The piece begins with a short introduction from ‪@JoJoSiwa‬ who brought this vision to life and choreographed the full performance. This year, the ICONS cast included: 86 dancers, ages 7 to 27 Dancers traveling from 20+ US states, plus Canada and Australia 4 days of rehearsals in Los Angeles A collective impact of $40,000 raised for Dancers Against Cancer JoJo crafted this tribute to honor several of the evening’s award recipients: • Janet Jackson - Global Music Icon • Mandy Moore - Choreographer of The Eras Tour • Christopher Scott - Choreographer of Wicked: The Movie The choreography also features a special moment inspired by DAC Hope Story Brielle’s viral dance, a powerful reminder of why this night matters. In one of the Gala’s most emotional highlights, our DAC Cancer Hope Stories joined the dancers onstage — bravely stepping into the spotlight and symbolizing the heart behind our mission. 💖 Thank you to every dancer, family, and supporter who helped make this performance possible.
