GoldenEar T44 Speaker Listening Event

‪@goldenear‬ sponsored a listening event at MaximumAV in Tampa, Florida, and we were mighty impressed with what we heard from their new T44 compact towers (MSRP: $5k/pair). With the sleek aerodynamics of a jet fighter and phenomenal fit and finish, these speakers were a hit with both audiophiles and casual listeners. The secret lies in their proprietary AMT tweeter and a 250-watt powered bass section featuring one active 5"x7" driver and dual opposing passive radiators. An Anthem STR Integrated Amp powered the mid/tweeter section, while a HiFi Rose streamer delivered lossless audio over Tidal and Qobuz. Best of all, we enjoyed tacos, indulged in mass quantities of alcohol, and had a blast filming the experience.
