Placid Boatworks Rapidfire

After over six years of use, with multiple canoe camping trips to the Adirondacks, Northern Maine, Vermont, I felt it was time to talk about this fine canoe.My wife and I did a ton of research and decided to invest in our new canoes a little over six years ago.I have paddled a lot of different canoes over the years. And various kayaks. For what I like to do, canoe camping, tripping with canoes in my opinion is so much better. The easy in and out, more load capacity. And with this canoe 22 lbs it's a pleasure to portage. After the first few scratches ! I understood that it was going to happen. These canoes are very responsive and I have a ton of faith it the performance of them. The trip we took up to Lake Placid to visit Placidboatworks was excellent, Joe, the owner was super informative and patient. Overall, we have never regretted this investment ! Cheers !
