Devil's dyke: Interesting Tales, local history, and the Dyke Railway

Devil's dyke is an impressive natural landmark, a "V-shaped dry valley" which cuts deep into the chalk of the South Downs, located northwest of the city of Brighton in West Sussex, England. Legend says the Dyke was created in a single night by the Devil, in a failed attempt to dig a trench and flood the many churches in the Weald below. History of this area stretches before written history in England, including an Ironage Hillfort which supported a large agricultural settlement. Apologies for mispronouncing the word "Weald" in the beginning! Special thanks to: Peter Groves and Brighton & Hove Golf Club Social Wildcard Leo Aram-Downs for helping with the music Charlie, Tom, and Liv for helping with the beginning scene "The Dyke Railway" article written by Peter Groves: https://www.mybrightonandhove.org.uk/place...
