Don’t Be This Guy… 6,000+ Mile Oil Change on My Tenere 700

*Don’t be this guy… 3,000+ miles on the same oil is not exactly my proudest maintenance moment.* In this video, I do a simple oil change on my 2024 Yamaha Tenere 700 after letting the mileage stretch a little too far. While I’m already under the bike, I also remove and review my AXP Racing bashplate, which has been on the T7 for a little over a year. This is a straightforward real-world motorcycle maintenance video covering basic Tenere 700 service, oil change tips, skid plate removal, and my honest thoughts on how the AXP Racing bashplate has held up after a year of ADV riding, gravel roads, dirt, rocks, and long-distance travel. Since I had to remove it for the oil change anyway, it made sense to take a closer look and give an honest long-term review.
