Afterglow is the final song taken from my album Beltane: The Blossoming Wild. Set in the quiet hours after Beltane night has faded, Afterglow is about someone learning to open their heart again after being hurt before. The fire has burned low, dawn is beginning to rise, and slowly, carefully, trust begins to return. Beltane, also known as May Day, has long been associated with fire, renewal, and love.
