Nijaposema Kwa Lugha za Malaika

This song is about showing love. Love is the greatest commandment. The song reminds us to show love by our actions and to prioritise loving others by actions over trying to show how we have them yet we don't. This is recorded in 1 Corinthians 13:1-8 Let's strive to love others by engaging in acts of love. 1 Wakorintho 13:1-8 [1] Nijaposema kwa lugha za wanadamu na za malaika, kama sina upendo, nimekuwa shaba iliayo na upatu uvumao. Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. [2] Tena nijapokuwa na unabii, na kujua siri zote na maarifa yote, nijapokuwa na imani timilifu kiasi cha kuweza kuhamisha milima, kama sina upendo, si kitu mimi. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. [3] Tena nikitoa mali zangu zote kuwalisha maskini, tena nikijitoa mwili wangu niungue moto, kama sina upendo, hainifaidii kitu. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing. [4] Upendo huvumilia, hufadhili; upendo hauhusudu; upendo hautakabari; haujivuni; Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, [5] haukosi kuwa na adabu; hautafuti mambo yake; hauoni uchungu; hauhesabu mabaya; Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; [6] haufurahii udhalimu, bali hufurahi pamoja na kweli; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; [7] huvumilia yote; huamini yote; hutumaini yote; hustahimili yote. Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. [8] Upendo haupungui neno wakati wo wote; bali ukiwapo unabii utabatilika; zikiwapo lugha, zitakoma; yakiwapo maarifa, yatabatilika. Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
