Thin Mom Struggles with Feisty Pup

A thin harbor seal mom struggles with her feisty pup at the Hopkins Marine Station Beach. She has been nursing the pup for a little over a month now and is ready to wean this pup but currently is just trying to get it to stay on the beach for a rest. The pup just wants to stay out swimming but mom does her best to try and block it. After several attempts to keep it from going back in the water, the pup finally tires out and comes ashore to nurse.
