Maria y Los Templos: La palabra en el trono del jazz | Reverberantes V2E7

Besides being a virtuoso, she has conceived of music as a sensory experience. Like falling in love, her devotion to the voice and guitar happened without her quite knowing why: an impulse transformed into passion. The first musician in her family and an enthusiast of Violeta Parra, she began her training with figures like Arlette Jequier, with whom she shared a common thread in her quest to master language and forge her own path in a male-dominated genre. Nominated for the Pulsar Award, with her project Maria y Los Templos and an album like La Prenda, she cemented what is now her peak, already established as one of the greatest revelations of contemporary Chilean jazz: María Segú.
